Yes, I've never used Joomla like Mark does to make his site. I mostly hand code things myself, as it can be fun as a former computer programmer, although it takes more time than using a CMS like Joomla. Mark doesn't know code well enough to do this. Maybe you could offer to redesign his website, unique hand created images that you convert into jpg images? Then create a sketch of how you think the website should look and I can hand code it all? He might feel appreciated more if two people did this. The drawback is changes would also have to be manually done, and I don't know if Mark has the time and/or inclination. We can ask him, but somehow I doubt he would be interested.
